Product Description

Natural Gas Pipeline G20V Portable TDLAS Laser Methane Ethane Leakage Inspection Detector

Description:

A laser ethane detector utilizes laser technology, specifically Tunable Diode Laser Spectroscopy (TDLS), to detect ethane gas (C2H6). These detectors are used in various applications, including leak detection in natural gas pipelines, monitoring emissions, and breath gas analysis. They offer high sensitivity, often in the parts per billion (ppb) range, and can distinguish between different gas compositions, like natural gas and biogas, by measuring ethane and methane levels simultaneously.

The portable laser natural gas leak detector can detect and separate Ethane content in natural gas samples, even with concentrations of Ethane as low as 0.5 PPB, offering quick and accurate indications in the field.

Laser technology can detect the ethane, and output the accurate concentration value in a shorter detection time.Meanwhile, you can refer to the detected methane concentration, and identify whether the leakage is from the natural gas according to the gas proportion.

Key features and benefits:
High Sensitivity:
TDLS-based detectors can achieve ppb-level sensitivity, allowing for the detection of even small leaks.
Specificity:
They can differentiate between ethane and methane, enabling accurate leak identification.
Real-time Monitoring:
TDLS allows for real-time measurements, providing immediate feedback on ethane levels.
Versatility:
They can be used in various applications, including leak detection in pipelines, industrial facilities, and even in breath analysis.
Accuracy:
Laser detectors adopts built-in internal pump, allowing for the detection of leaks with high accuracy.

Examples of applications:
Natural Gas Leak Detection:
Identifying leaks in pipelines, storage tanks, and other natural gas infrastructure.
Industrial Monitoring:
Detecting leaks in chemical plants, refineries, and other industrial facilities.
Environmental Monitoring:
Measuring ethane emissions from various sources, including landfills and agricultural activities.
