Product Description

Remote Laser Gas Detector for Buried Pipeline Refinery Gas Leak Inspection

Description:

AiLF Instruments is a leading manufacturer and supplier of remote gas leak detectors for the natural gas industry. Our technology is based on the principle of absorption infrared spectroscopy using a diode laser with tunable frequency. Together with advanced algorithm, it can display the gas concentration at ppm•m.

The AiLF L10 Remote Laser Methane Leak Detector's green laser dot excellent visibility is ideal for outdoor use and easily allows spotting the inspected area even under strong outdoor sunlight. A complementary app running on an Android mobile phone or tablet records the measured values in conjunction with the GPS position. The app shows the survey history and the measured locations on the map and all reports can be shared within seconds.

Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS):

The core of these remote laser gas detection systems is often TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy). This remote laser gas detector technology emits a laser beam and measures how much of the laser light is absorbed by methane molecules in the air. The laser beam of the Remote laser methane leak detector is transmitted towards the target. Once reached, the beam is then reflected back to the detector for analysis. The results show on
the display screen immediately.

Advantages:

The remote laser methane leak detector range offers a 0.1 second response to detected methane, over an expected 10-year laser sensor life. User settable audible alerts allow an operator to quickly scan for methane over a wide area, without having to use a reflector. From Natural gas pipeline to biogas, fast leak detection means improved safety and environmental impact and increased profitability through reduction of gas loss and tighter management of infrastructure maintenance.
