Bluetooth WIFI 100m Remote TDLAS Laser Methane Detector for Natural City Gas Pipeline Leak Inspection

 

Description:

 

The remote laser methane detector is Intrinsically Safety instrument with a rating of Class I, Division II, which allows operators to use it indoors and within potentially hazardous environments such as compressor stations. The field rugged design operates under a variety of field conditions, can detect up to 350 feet away allowing operators to safely survey in areas that may be difficult to reach such as busy roadways, yards with dogs, fenced off areas, compressor stations, overhead piping and other hard to access places.

 

With a range of up to 100 meters the remote methane leak detector is able to measure from 5 ppm•m up to high concentrations to enable fast remote leak detection during leak surveys. The TDLAS technology is based on the principle of absorption infrared spectroscopy using a diode laser with tunable frequency. Together with advanced algorithm, it can display the gas concentration at ppm•m.

 

THE ADA software application meets the growing demand for tracking and traceability. With the L10M remote laser methane leak detector, the user can keep their eyes on the target while the ADA software application captures streaming data. The app logs date, time, GPS coordinates, and gas measurements, and sessions can be exported in multiple formats from the phone/tablet. The software built-in picture capture feature association readings with pictures or reports of corrosion issues.

 

Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS):

The core of these remote laser gas detection systems is often TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy). This remote laser gas detector technology emits a laser beam and measures how much of the laser light is absorbed by methane molecules in the air. The laser beam of the Remote laser methane leak detector is transmitted towards the target. Once reached, the beam is then reflected back to the detector for analysis. The results show on 
the display screen immediately.
